Julia Woolley has been called up to join the 2020 Collingwood Magpies squad.
Jules will take part in the Magpies Suncorp Super Netball pre-season games and will support the squad across the 2020 ANL competition.
This is a terrific reward after an outstanding 2019 season. Julia Woolley won the Geelong Cougars best and fairest and the VNL Championship MVP award, and was a huge part of the Cougars inaugural Championship Premiership. Add this to being one of the most consistent and respected members of the Geelong Netball community.
Collingwood head coach Rob Wright said
“…the way she goes about her business on-court demanded that we gave her an opportunity at Collingwood.”
Jules will have a local welcoming committee ready to greet her on day one. Mel Bragg joined the Magpies 2020 SSN team and Brooke Allan is a Magpies training partner.
