Development Team

Age: 16

Playing History: I started playing netball at 8 years old with Central Flames and moved to my current club St Marys when I was 10. While still playing for St Marys I have represented Geelong Flyers, GFL league, Barwon Sports Academy, Barwon region and Central West Talent Academy.

What’s your favourite thing about the game? I like being able to develop relationships and build connections through netball, and I like feeling excited as a team when we play.

If you had to name one person who had an influence on your netball career, who would it be? My mum is my biggest influence because she has constant belief in me and in what I can achieve.

Playing history: Started netball in Net Set Go at age 7 and then played domestic netball from under 9s. Played representative netball since under 11s for Diamond Creek. Made Netball Victoria Talent Academy in 2021  as a bottom age player. Made top 50 at Vic state trials recently.

Favourite thing about netball: Working together as a team and the sense of achievement when we achieve a win after being behind all game. As GK the challenge of trying to stop my player getting free for a pass.

Influence on my netball career: My Diamond Creek representative coach who taught and encouraged me for many years.

Playing History: Started at Bell Park Football Netball Club for my junior years. Started playing in Geelong flyers development side when I was 14 and worked my way through those team for four years. In 2021 I made B grade for the first year at bell park while still in juniors. In 2022 I played b grade for bell park and made my first VNL team Geelong Cougars as a training partner.

What’s your favourite thing about the game? All the amazing people you meet along the way who support and encourage you throughout the years. The connection you make with these people last forever and you can always have trust them to have your back on and off the court.

If you had to name one person who had an influence on your netball career, who would it be? My mum. She used to play when she was younger and she always pushes me and supports me in every single way on and off the court. She makes me want to be a better play and keep on learning and developing as an individual and for the team.
