Geelong Flyers Awards
The Geelong Flyers provide an important step on the netball player pathway, offering opportunities for young athletes to develop their skills in a competitive environment. The Geelong Flyers play at Parkville on a Tuesday night, a commitment which requires dedication from players, coaches, support staff and their families.

Geelong Flyers Special Awards
- Emma McVilly Award
The Emma McVilly Award is a perpetual award given to a player who represents important team and community values. Emma McVilly played for the Flyers. The 17-year old country netball star died suddenly in 2008 after collapsing during a warm-up for her team’s Regional State League Grand Final in Warrnambool. This award remembers the values of a player despite the tragic event that occurred back in 2008.

- Jan Oman Merit Award
The Jan Oman Merit Award acknowledges a player from the Geelong Flyers program that shows outstanding qualities on and off court.
- Exceptional leadership amongst peers.
- Maturity in conversing between coaches and peers.

- Initiative and commitment at trainings and games.
- Supportive, encouraging and inspirational to fellow team mates.
